Care & Maintenance

Stainless Steel Care

  • Stainless steel frame can be polished with a cloth.
  • For a deeper clean, gently scrub the surface with a soft, bristled brush and a mild soap solution.
  • Avoid solvent-based or abrasive cleaners, as these will scratch, fade, and wear down the surface.

Teak Care

  • Wipe down teak surfaces with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as these can damage the wooden surface. Instead, stick to a mild soap and water mixture when needed for tougher stains.
  • Periodically apply a teak oil to help maintain its colour.
  • Use coasters to prevent damage from especially hot or wet items.
  • Take care to cover the surface when it’s not in use to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight or precipitation.

Textilene

  • Wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Most stains can be wiped off.
  • Sling may be gently hosed down or pressure washed at the lowest setting.
  • For stubborn stains, a soft, bristled brush can be used to scrub the sling with a solution of two ounces of a light liquid soap per one gallon of lukewarm water.
  • Food spills should be cleaned up immediately, as they may stain and will attract insects.
  • Rinse well and allow to dry thoroughly after cleaning.
  • Keep covered and dry when not in use.

Cushion Care

Our cushions are made with high-performance Sunbrella® solution-dyed fabrics with an innovative high-resilience cushion fill. Engineered to withstand the elements, our generously proportioned cushions are a standout feature of our outdoor furniture. In order to maintain the look and strength of the cushions, it’s key to follow proper care guidelines.

Tips to prolong the life of your Sunbrella® cushions

  • Keep cushions dry and avoid unnecessary moisture.
  • Fabric may be cleaned with water, a mild soap solution, and gently scrubbed using a soft, bristled brush.
  • If the cushions have been dampened or soaked through, shake or wipe the cushions off to remove excess moisture before leaving them in a dry place to air out.
  • Note: Do not store cushions while wet. Please allow fabric and foam cushion to air dry fully before storing to prevent mold and mildew growth.
  • Food spills should be cleaned up immediately, as they may stain and will attract insects. Should staining occur, clean with a solution of two ounces of a light liquid soap per one gallon of lukewarm water.
  • Fabric cushion covers may be machine washed for a deeper clean. Please follow the Sunbrella® cleaning guide to ensure the fabric’s integrity is preserved.

We always recommend covering or storing your cushions when they are not in use, particularly in the off season or during inclement weather conditions, to prevent unnecessary wear and tear.

Wicker Care

All wicker frames are made using premium all-weather HDPE resin wicker. Resistant to fading, warping, and cracking, our wicker offers superb longevity and ease of maintenance. To start, we recommend removing the cushions to fully access the frame for a thorough cleaning.

Tips to clean wicker frames

  • Large debris such as leaves or twigs should be removed prior to applying cleaning solutions to the frames.
  • For light surface cleaning, wipe down with a soft damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
  • A soft bristle brush and a solution of two ounces of a light liquid soap per one gallon of lukewarm water may be used to clean off stubborn soil.
  • If a deeper clean is desired, a pressure washer on the gentlest setting or water hose may be used on the frame to avoid damaging or warping the wicker weave.
  • Note: Avoid harsh chemical or abrasive cleaning products, as these may lead to permanent damage of the wicker and compromise its performance.
  • Rinse thoroughly after using any soaps or detergents.
  • Allow frames to dry thoroughly before storing to prevent mold or mildew growth.
